ORPHA MAYES, 95, of Huntington, is now absent from the body and present with the Lord. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday, September 18, 2013, at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville, by Rev. Keith Leap. Burial will be in Ridgelawn Memorial Park. She was born May 30, 1918, in Huntington, a daughter of the late Greene and Allie Toler Blankenship. She was also preceded in death by her husband Charles W. Sullivan and two sons-in-law, Carroll Ray and Philip Chapman. She was a member of Milton United Methodist Church. She is survived by two daughters, Joyce Ray of Barboursville and Sheila Chapman of Huntington; one son and daughter-in-law Ronald and Julie Sullivan of Milton; seven grandchildren, Dawn Tatum, Kevin Ray, Melanie Mullins, Lori Watkins, Andrew Chapman, Lee Sullivan and Terri Slayton; thirteen great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; special nephew Timothy Sullivan of Lavalette; and her special friend, Pudgy. Visitation will be Wednesday from noon until 2 p.m. at the Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville.
