DEBRA KAY MORRISON, 62, of Huntington, W.Va., passed away Tuesday, July 31, 2012, in St. Mary's Medical Center, Huntington, W.Va. She was born November 9, 1949, in Huntington, daughter of the late Billy Jack and Maxine Marie Smoot Chaffin. She is survived by her husband Jimmy Morrison, III; three sons, Jimmy IV (Christal Perry) Morrison, Nathan Alexander Morrison and Aaron Zachary Morrison; three grandchildren, Connor James, Trevor Perry and Hayden Wesley; one brother Richard Chaffin; one half brother Billy Chaffin; and numerous close friends. Debra was a strong advocate for animals' rights as she rescued and saved many animals. Debra was a world traveler and had visited and lived in several different countries and cities. Debra loved gardening, sewing, history and helping others. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, daughter, wife and friend. She will be truly missed as her spirit carries on through the thoughts and memories of the people that knew her and the people that loved her. A gathering of family and friends will be held 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, August 3, 2012, at Hall Funeral Home, Proctorville, Ohio with a memorial service at 7 p.m. Friday, August 3, 2012, at the funeral home by Ryan Zipperian.
