GLORIADENE "BOOTSIE" DROWN, 74, of Clayton, N.C., formerly of Rt. 75, Kenova, W.Va., passed away Thursday, Nov. 5, 2009, at home in Clayton , N.C. Funeral Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Ceredo-Kenova Funeral Home with Rev. George M. Plantz officiating. Burial will follow in the Maple Hill Cemetery. She was born June 10, 1935, in Huntington, W.Va., a daughter of the late Frank and Dorothy Esque Small. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Delbert Drown Jr., who died June 24, 1985; and a sister, Helen Louise Spry; a son, John Wesley Drown; and a granddaughter, Crystal Lee Drown. Survivors include sons, Delbert Drown III of Huntington W.Va., Robert Lee Drown and wife Andrea of Kenova, W.Va., Frank Jeffery Drown and wife Donna of Huntington, W.Va., David Allen Drown, of New Hampshire; daughters, Linda Louise Richards and husband Fred of Clayton, N.C., Dorothy Marie Mount and husband Gary of Milton, W.Va., and Lula Mae Sharp of Kenova, W.Va.; 12 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren; a brother, Robert Small and wife Delores of Huntington, W.Va.; along with many other extended family and friends who were very special to momma.
