CHESTER PATTON, 90, formerly of Prestonsburg, widower of Evelyn Faye Harris Patton, died Tuesday in Hospice House in Winston-Salem, N.C., where he was residing. He formerly worked at Pittston Coal Group, Lebanon, Va. Funeral service 7 p.m. Friday, Carter Funeral Home Chapel, Prestonsburg; burial at Davidson Memorial Gardens, Ivel. Visitation from 4 to 6 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
