BURNELINE "Peggy" JOHNSTON, of Huntington, West Virginia, passed away Thursday, October 22, 2009, in Hospice House of Huntington. A private funeral service was conducted Saturday, October 24, 2009, at Beard Mortuary, Huntington. Final burial was conducted at White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville. She was born on September 25, 1922, in Hamlin, W.Va., a daughter to the late Elmer and Garnett Bays. Mrs. Johnston was a member of Central Freewill Baptist Church, Huntington Chapter #8 Order of Eastern Star - Past Matron, Past Grand Representative. She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Junior E. Johnston. She is survived by four daughters, one of which was Patricia Randolph whom was her caregiver; Michelle Ferguson, Natalie Carter and 9 additional grandchildren; Brynne Ferguson, Brycen Ferguson and 16 additional great grandchildren. Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Huntington.
